The Rhythm Masters were formed by Steve Mac and Rob Chetcuti. They were already dj'ing in the beginning of the 90's and from 1994 they have been producing tracks together, combining the hiphop background of Steve with the keyboard and synthesizer background of Rob they came with a very unique and succesful style. The first real breakthrough for the duo came when they remixed Todd Terry's track 'Keep on Jumpin''. Like many other mongoloid crew members they remixed a wide variety of artists, from commercial artists like 2 Unlimited and Scatman John to Junior Sanchez and Mike Delgado. Among their own releases there are some real clubhits like 'Ibiza In My Soul' and 'Underground'. Even if they have been releasing tracks from 1994 on many different labels and from 1997 on their own Dis-Funktional label, it would take till 2001 for their first album to release. As it later turned out this was also their last album as the band split in 2002. Steve Mac and Rob Chetcuti are still releasing tracks on their own now which are well worth checking.
